Nitrosol Oceanic - Fish Blood and Bone

Nitrosol Original is created by combining hydrolysed deep-sea fish blood and bone with trace elements and minerals to form a balanced 11-5-7 NPK formulation.

Nitrosol-Oceanic contains abundant organic material that nurture and feed the soil microbiological activity. This, in turn, enhances bacterial and fungal processes, increases earthworm populations, and works synergistically with other beneficial products like Gibb-Gro Gibberellic Acid, Seaweed, and Pot Humate. Consequently, you can expect improved soil structure and greater availability of vital nutrients, minerals, and trace elements crucial for plant growth. Having been around for more than 48 years, you can trust the Nitrosol name!

NITROSOL OCEANIC – PERFECT FOR PASTURE AND CROPS.

Made from organic material sourced from deep-sea fishing operations, Nitrosol Oceanic is perfect for both grazing land and horticulture. It enhances the efficacy of products like Gibb-Gro Gibberellic Acid, Seaweed, and Pot Humate in your agricultural endeavours.

WHAT’S IN NITROSOL OCEANIC?

Nitrosol Oceanic is a finely suspended liquid created using modern technology, providing nutrients readily absorbable by plants. One of its key benefits is an increased NPK ratio of 11-5-7, primarily achieved through amino acids, resulting in enhanced plant growth compared to older, lower-NPK versions. It complements the efficacy of products like Gibb-Gro Gibberellic Acid, Seaweed, and Pot Humate to maximise plant health and vitality.

This one-step organic based, colloidal liquid suspension contains:

  • A balanced blend of minerals and trace elements to address soil and plant deficiencies and imbalances.

  • An NPK of 11-5-7, absorbable through both foliage and soil.

  • A natural growth promoter stimulating plant absorption of available minerals and trace elements.

  • Organic matter, including amino acids, proteins, globulin, albumin and cholesterols to nurture and feed the soil biology.

HOW TO USE NITROSOL OCEANIC

Dilution with water is usually recommended to be 1:100.  Make sure it is well agitated before mixing.

Some guidelines for mixing Nitrosol are below:

  • 5ml (about 1 teaspoon) per 500ml of water.  For home use, use 5-10ml

  • 20ml (about 4 teaspoons) per 2 litres of water

  • 150ml (about 9 tablespoons) per 15 litres of water - a typical backpack sprayer

  • One litre per 100 litres of water

PASTURE : SHEEP & BEEF

Nitrosol Oceanic, being fish-based, is safe for grazing by ruminants like sheep, cattle, goats, deer, etc.

Apply at rates of 10-20 litres per hectare (4-8 litres per acre) during autumn and spring, mixed with enough water to achieve the required coverage. The more water able to be applied the better but depending upon your gear you can vary to suit your boom width, spray rate and spray speed. For ground boom spraying the dilution might be 1:10 - 1:50. Helicopter or fixed wing aircraft application might end up being as low as 1:1. Application of Nitrosol in the rain is ok. Nitrosol enhances the effectiveness of products like Gibb-Gro Gibberellic Acid, Seaweed, and Pot Humate.

PASTURE : DAIRY

Nitrosol Oceanic is suitable for pasture grazed by dairy cows. Apply at rates of 15-25 litres per hectare (6-10 litres per acre) once in spring and once in autumn.

Mix with sufficient water to ensure coverage of required amount of Nitrosol Oceanic per hectare. Nitrosol enhances the effectiveness of products like Gibb-Gro Gibb-Gro Gibberellic Acid, Seaweed, and Pot Humate to promote healthy and robust pasture.

NURSERIES

For seed germination, transplanting seedlings, cuttings, shrubs, trees, and repotting, mix Nitrosol with water at a 1:200 dilution. Apply the diluted mix to seed beds during sowing and repeat weekly.

You can also soak seedlings in the diluted mix overnight before transplanting and use it around the root zone and foliage. Nitrosol complements the effectiveness of products like Gibb-Gro Gibb-Gro Gibberellic Acid, Seaweed, and Pot Humate in nurturing young plants.

GENERAL GARDEN USE

For various garden applications, including vegetables, flowers, shrubs, fruit trees, lawns, vines, and houseplants, dilute Nitrosol at a 1:200 ratio and apply around the root zone and foliage. During periods of rapid growth, like spring and autumn, apply weekly; otherwise, monthly application suffices. Nitrosol enhances the efficacy of products like Gibb-Gro Gibb-Gro Gibberellic Acid, Seaweed, and Pot Humate for flourishing gardens.

ORCHARDS AND VITICULTURE

For orchards and vineyards, apply Nitrosol 1-3 times a year at rates of 10-20 litres per hectare with an adequate amount of water.

When combining with plant protection chemicals, add Nitrosol as the last ingredient to the spray mix at a 1:100 dilution or at 4-15 litres per hectare. Exercise caution when mixing – see more below. Nitrosol enhances the efficacy of products like Gibb-Gro Gibb-Gro Gibberellic Acid, Seaweed, and Pot Humate for thriving orchards and vineyards.

GLASSHOUSE FRUIT AND VEGETABLES

Use Nitrosol same as if used on fruit and vegetables outdoors. Nitrosol is great for lettuce, capsicums, chilli, tomatoes, beans, cucumber and more.

Apply the 1:100 dilution weekly or add it to the spray tank as the last ingredient along with crop protection chemicals, then spray to the drip point. Nitrosol complements the efficacy of products like Gibb-Gro Gibb-Gro Gibberellic Acid, Seaweed, and Pot Humate for healthy greenhouse crops.

If adding into fertigation or liquid feed systems as a booster, add Nitrosol to the chemical liquid feed concentrate tank at the rate of 1 litre of Nitrosol per 150 litres of liquid feed concentrate.

OTHER CROPS

For crops like cotton, maize, corn, sorghum, canola, wheat, barley, and tomatoes, add Nitrosol as a booster or stress reliever to the spray tank at 1-5 litre per hectare, not exceeding a 1:100 dilution. Add it as the last ingredient when applying plant protection chemicals. See caution below.

Nitrosol enhances the efficacy of products like Gibb-Gro Gibberellic Acid, Seaweed, and Pot Humate in addressing crop needs.

Mixing with weed sprays, pesticides and herbicides

When combining with selective herbicides, add Nitrosol at a 1:100 ratio to the spray tank as the last ingredient to assist non-target plants in recovering from the stress of the spray. Always perform a compatibility test before mixing with other products.

Compatibility Test if Mixing Nitrosol

Before widespread use on plants, trees, or crops, check for compatibility with other products. Mix a small sample in the intended ratio and ensure it mixes well and stays in suspension. Spray a test sample on a sacrificial plant or branch to identify any adverse effects.

To date Nitrosol Ltd have not identified any incompatibility with commonly used plants protection products in laboratory tests, however due to on-site variables such as water quality, new or changed chemical formulations, or changed mixtures of chemicals be sure to thoroughly test first and satisfy yourself as to suitability for mixing.

When used as directed Nitrosol Oceanic is environmentally friendly and is completely safe for bees, birds and butterflies.

Nitrosol is a registered tradename of Nitrosol Ltd.
