Our concentrated seaweed extract flake is a natural bio-activator that will stimulate microbial activity in the soil, which in turn helps break down organic matter making it more readily available to your pasture or crops.

Seaweed Treat concentrate flake is great for use as an animal supplement or tonic and many farmers swear by using seaweed as a tonic around facial eczema time.
Containing the concentrated extract of the seaweed species Ascophyllum nodosum, Seaweed concentrate is the "Rolls Royce" of seaweed. Presented in the form of a water-soluble flake it is highly soluble and is safe and easy to use.
Ascophyllum nodosum is a cold water seaweed only harvested in the cold Northern Hemisphere waters. it is considered to be the premium Seaweed extract in the world.
Note - don't confuse this much stronger product with the lower strength seaweed meals or liquid seaweed products.
APPLICATION RATES
Our Seaweed concentrated flake is fully water-soluble and is easy to spray using all common spray equipment types. The recommended application rate on pasture for Seaweed Extract Flake is 1-2kg per hectare in 100 - 200 litres of water applied 2-4 times a year using a boom spray, rosette spray or a handgun at 5-10 grams per 5lts water per 100 square metres.
WHEN TO APPLY
- Lawn, Turf, Golf courses and greens - every 30 days except during winter.
- Root Dipping - to aid in plant vitality and reduce mortality dip roots, or planter containers in a solution for 5-10 minutes before planting. Use a lower rate of 5g per 10 litres of water.
- Seed Soaking - to assist seed sprout soak seeds for 4-6 hours prior to planting in a solution of 5g / 5 litres.
- Pip and Stone Fruit - 10g / 5 litres applied monthly from budburst until harvest
- Berry fruit - 10g / 5 litres every 14 days from bud burst until harvest
- Vegetables - 10g / 5 litres every 14 days from visible growth until harvest
- Grapes- 10g / 5 litres every 14 days from bud burst until harvest
- Roses - 10g / 5 litres every 14 days from bud burst through the growing season.
- Citrus - 10g / 5 litres from petal fall and monthly until harvest.
